SCE Interview: Singapore Deepens Cooperation with Chongqing in Smart Tech

Singaporean guests were invited for an interview with iChongqing, the platform of Chongqing International Media Center, after Singapore Media Briefing and MOU Signing Ceremony by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) at 2018 Smart China Expo (SCE 2018) on August 22, to share their views on smart tourism, logistics service, IT industry in Chongqing.

Li Shaohuan, Co-Founder of Fooyo,specialized in smart tourism solutions for tourist and tourist attractions’ owners, has cooperated with Chongqing Tourism Investment Group in the development of the “AI Chongqing” App. The name for the APP in Chinese means love Chongqing, he explained.

Mr Eric Mou, Senior Vice President of iSoftStone, believed that SCE works as a good platform to connect Chongqing’s IT companies with Singaporean counterparts. Moreover, he gave some advice on smart city projects and recommended Chongqing citizen, who plan to visit Singapore, to experience its services.

Mr Jason Lim, Founder of veriTAG, expert of Cloud Tagging technology, explained how the technology can trace the origin of products. He is looking forward to AI showcased and fruitful MOUs at SCE 2018.

Mr Te-Bin, General Manager of Rizon Technologies and Chief Commercial Officer of Y3 technologies, whose company is collaborating with Chongqing Transportation Group. “China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity is a good way for further cooperation,” he said and showed confident on the development of Chongqing’s logistics services in the foreseeable future.
